Candace Ross, Ph. D.

Candace W. Ross, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and a licensed professional counselor.  For the past 30 years Candace has worked in private practice and as teacher and counselor at Mattawan and Paw Paw high schools.

In her private practice Candace does psychotherapy with adolescents, adults and elders with a wide variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, adjustment, grief, parenting concerns, eating disorders/nutrition concerns and relationship issues.  She also provides supervision to both psychologists and counselors seeking licensure.

Candace received M.A.s in Learning Disabilities and Counseling in addition to her Ph.D.  in counseling and psychology from Western Michigan University.

She practices with cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches.  Her goal is to help clients decrease distress, improve personal relationships and improve their ability to live more satisfying and productive lives.
